How To Edit Dreambox Dm500S ++ Configuration / cccam / c line

Your favourite, economical, linux satellite decoder, Dreambox Dm500s..

0. Download DCC296.zip from https://app.box.com/s/51gqnztbff360dnfylh8
1. make sure dreambox are on and connected to your LAN network.
2. make sure you have a pc/laptop connected as well.
3. Then open DCC (Dreambox Control Center).EXE
4. Make sure this computer, dreambox and router are connected. If not configure/search the right ip address then 'reconnect'
5. if all goes well, go to FTP > commander
6. go to /var/etc/
7. see the file 'CCcam.cfg', right click on it and 'edit'.
8. look for a line/lines that look like below:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
C: apple.astrocline.com.my 12345 USER123 PASS123
------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. edit that to your SERVER PORT USERID PASSWORD in above same format, remove if theres other access since the processes will clash if added together...
10. press the icon 'save and exit'
11. you are done, after save done, your dreambox will start if not just restart your dreambox.
